She is normally very prompt. This appointment was certainly the exception, not the rule. She is VERY thorough, caring and concerned. She never rushes me and gives me a lot of information; almost like she NEEDS to be 100% sure that she's given me every single piece of information about my health or she won't sleep at night. She definitely has good communication skills. Many doctors want to talk AT you. Dr. Jackson is sure that it's a 2-sided conversation and always allows me to ask questions and comments. She is GREAT and if all of my other health care providers were like Dr. Jackson, I'd be in heaven!

Dr. Jackson was very thorough and explained things in terms I could understand. She also showed me the results of my bone density scan, which was very interesting. A lot of doctors don't go over x-rays or scans and explain them in detail; they just give you a summary of the findings. To actually view the scan or x-ray and have someone explain the findings helps my understanding of what's going on.

I appreciated that Dr. Jackson showed me on the computer what the results of the DEXA scan were and explained how that was different than a normal scan. It was the first time someone actually showed me the results of the scan.

This care provider is outstanding! Really knows her stuff I can tell. I learned things I have not heard before about the thyroid issues Graves' disease or thyroiditis related information. She changed my medication a little bit explain to me why I have no questions it makes perfect sense with how I've been feeling.
