Bio:
Dr. Phillips provides non-surgical treatment for muscle, joint and bone issues and sports injuries. He enjoys working with all type of patients, from youth and collegiate athletes to weekend warriors and Baby Boomers. He has also spent time covering athletic events, such as the Boston Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon, Raleigh Ironman and multiple NCAA championships. In addition to traditional modalities of primary care sports medicine, Dr. Phillips uses ultrasound, a low-cost, non-invasive method to evaluate injuries to diagnose and treat injuries. He provides traditional joint injections, as well as new interventions that can lead to a faster recovery and be less painfulthan typical surgical techniques, such as platelet-rich plasma, viscosupplementation, prolotherapy, hydrodissection, and needle tenotomy. He also does compartment syndrome testing and neurocognitive concussion testing. In his free time, Dr. Phillips loves attending sporting events, spending time outdoors, running, hiking and camping. He and his wife are excited to experience Corvallis together with their chocolate lab.
