Timothy “Tim” Arakawa, MD, PhD

As stated before, Dr Arakawa is a phenomenal endocrinologist and physiologist and explains issues from several different perspectives.

Dr Arakawa is very patient in answering questions and discussing options. He is thorough in explaining test results and has followed up when those results were murky or contradictory.

Dr. Arikawa is the most professional Endocrinologist I have seen in 45 years living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Dr Arakawa is amazing! He's a wonderful Dr and very kind and caring and I am blessed to be his patient. I would highly recommend him

I've been on 100% hormone replacement therapy for 20 years. I've seen many Endocrinologists over the years.Dr. Arakawa is, bar none, the most exceptional endocrinologist I've ever met. His PhD in Human Physiology is a jaw-dropping asset that has already benefited me several times and goes way above the realm of what I ever expected or experienced. He listens to what I say and then does research on his own time to come up with logical solutions. Just one example is the sublingual administration of oral medications. Yes, he is brilliant and you should do everything you can to keep him at Samaritan. I could go on.
