Get Tested for COVID-19

Testing

Home Test Kits

COVID-19 test kits can be purchased over the counter at pharmacies or retail stores, and the costs for these home tests are covered by many insurance plans. Households in the U.S. may be eligible to order free test kits online.

Home test kits are appropriate if you:

  • Are experiencing symptoms that don’t require medical attention.
  • Were possibly exposed to someone with COVID-19. If you have no symptoms, wait three to five days after the potential exposure to perform the test.

Community Testing Options

Other community testing locations include pharmacies, county health departments and primary care providers.
