Such issues commonly affect cancer survivors and are often underserved. During this one day retreat, participants will engage with our host, Jessica Bell, PA-C, who specializes in sexual medicine at Samaritan Health Services. The retreat will focus on learning, community and empowerment. Joining Jessica will be Susan Giglio, DPT, a pelvic floor physical therapist at Samaritan, who will guide participants through gentle yoga movements with the goal of being able to practice them on your own. Lisa-Paula da Silva, MSW, LCSW, with Samaritan Cancer Program will discuss completing the stress response cycle. Information about anatomy, sexual health and mindfulness-based interventions will be shared in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants will leave with tangible tools to support all of the topics covered. This workshop is meant for female-identifying cancer survivors.
