Samaritan Welcomes Morgan Wimmer, DO September 13, 2022 Morgan Wimmer, DO, has joined Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic – Lebanon. Dr. Wimmer provides primary care for people of all ages. Dr. Wimmer earned a bachelor’s degree at State University of New York at Potsdam and a medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest. She completed residency training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. Dr. Wimmer has always wanted to help people. “Early on, I was fascinated with science,” she said. “As a physician, I feel fulfilled in helping people overcome challenges.” Dr. Wimmer seeks to provide compassionate care and said she is guided by her moral code. “Personal integrity holds incredible value in my life,” she said. “I try to practice the principles of honesty, humility and respect in every experience.” After completing her residency at Samaritan, she chose to stay to establish her medical practice. Dr. Wimmer was born in Lebanon, where she also grew up and attended medical school. “My ties to Oregon and the Pacific Northwest are strong,” she said. “I want to help improve my community.” In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, rock collecting, embroidery, playing the piano and spending time with her family and pets.
