The Samaritan Medication Assistance Program provides over $250,000 per month of free prescription drugs to those who have no medication insurance and are unable to afford the cost of their medications. Samaritan Health Services physician clinics and pharmacies are now distributing Personal Medication Information cards to help patients keep track of their current medications. The Personal Medical Information card is a chart to help you and your family members keep a current record of information that physicians need to know to ensure safe and complete medical treatment. This record includes immunizations, allergies, prescribed medications, and any vitamins, herbal supplements or over-the-counter medicines.
Samaritan’s Residency in Pharmacy Practice at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center teaches newly licensed pharmacists how to provide clinical pharmacy services. The program includes rotations in many areas of hospital and outpatient pharmacy practices.
Through our Specialty Pharmacy services, we can deliver certain specialty medications to your door, and we will partner with your health care team to manage your refills and monitor your lab work to make sure the medications are keeping you on the right path.
