Bruce Russell knows he beat the odds by surviving. Unaware of the abdominal aortic aneurysm that had likely been growing in his body for years, he faced the most dire of health emergencies when his artery burst in April 2012. Quick thinking and coordination at every step by his wife Jerelyn, Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, REACH Air Medical Services and Dr. Toshio Nagamoto of Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute saved Russell’s life.
