Dr Weisensee has been my doctor for over 15 years and I have great confidence in him however my hesitancy to recommend him Is the Inability to see him If there Is a problem before the scheduled appointment. I have seen several clinicians there that I did not care to see because he was booked.

I felt Dr. Weisensee sought to help me "where I am" at 77 yr old and seeking as much quality of life as possible at this time of life, even though possibly some of my decisions MAY not help me live longer. I appreciated that.

I didn't feel comfortable discussing my problems with doctor in front of 2 other people the transcripts and the translator. So my concerns were not mentioned. Besides the visit was the annual Medicare preventive office visit. Which I was not excited to have to do. I would prefer to have only the doctor in the room without 4 other ears hearing what is going on with me.

None of my concerns were addressed or looked at. I was told one would get better without even looking or talking about it, and the other was ignored completely.

Dr. W is such a good physician, that I drive 90 minutes each way to have blood work done days prior to my appointment and the same on my appointment visit day. I am always very happy to see him and I feel that he takes good care of me. I don't always move quickly enough on his advice, but he never slows down about what is best for me. I have always felt that he cares for me as a person as well as my friend who recommended him years ago. His staff considers themselves to be lucky to be working with him as well.
