He works with a patient’s regular clinician and other specialists to provide skilled and compassionate care. Before becoming a physician, he was a medical researcher testing osteoporosis drug developments. Some of his research was even sent to space by NASA with collaboration with Space X, to explore the effects of microgravity onboard the International Space Station on bone. Later, he decided to switch careers to work with people. He enjoys caring for patients and helping them reach healthy outcomes. In his free time, Dr. Lai enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, playing with his dogs, traveling and spending time with family.
