Andrew Gessel, DO

Dr. Gessel is devoted to caring for hospitalized patients at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and other Samaritan hospitals.

Dr. Gessel works with a patient’s regular clinician and other specialists to provide skilled and compassionate care. He partners with his patients to help them improve their health.

He became a doctor because he wants to constantly learn new things and to feel like his work makes a positive impact in his patients’ lives.

Previously, Dr. Gessel was a researcher in Armenia and Ghana, studying the intersection of health and culture.

He grew up in Washington, but now calls Oregon home.

In his free time, Dr. Gesselenjoys being outdoors, trail running, water skiing and spending time with family.
