In keeping with the not-for-profit mission of Samaritan Health Services, financial assistance will be provided to uninsured and insured patients with demonstrated financial need.
Medical care will be provided to individuals presenting emergency medical conditions, without discrimination, regardless of their ability to pay for those services or their eligibility for financial assistance.
If you are interested in financial assistance, please review the following documents and application.
Samaritan Health Services will not deny necessary urgent or emergent health care to any individual regardless of their ability to pay. A determination of ability to pay shall be made after all relevant financial factors have been examined, evaluated and found to be valid.
Financial assistance may be allowed in full or at a reduced amount depending upon the evaluation of the patient’s ability to pay. Financial assistance is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines published by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
All information submitted with financial assistance requests will be kept confidential and will take no more than 30 days to process. Upon final review and processing, Samaritan Health Services will notify all patients of the final determination.
We recognize the strain of paying medical bills without insurance coverage. Therefore, we have developed a discount program for our patients who do not have health insurance. Regardless of economic status, those who do not have insurance and must self-pay will receive a 20% discount. This discount will appear on your Samaritan Health Services billing statement.
