Surgeon April Jensen, DO, Joins Samaritan February 28, 2020 Samaritan Albany Surgical Associates is pleased to welcome April Jensen, DO, to its team of providers. Dr. Jensen is a general surgeon specializing in advanced laparoscopic procedures; robotic surgery; breast, thyroid, colorectal and vascular surgery; as well as hyperbaric treatment and wound care. Dr. Jensen earned a bachelor’s degree from Union College and a medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a master’s in public health at Nova Southeastern University and a residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. In her free time, Dr. Jensen enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and exploring the outdoors, including rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding and climbing mountains.
