Samaritan Welcomes Rebecca Pestle, PA-C December 29, 2022 Play Video Physician Assistant Rebecca Pestle has joined Samaritan Internal Medicine – Corvallis. She provides primary care for adults. She earned bachelor’s degrees at Texas Christian University and Emory University and a master’s in physician assistant studies at Rocky Mountain College. Pestle’s grandfather and uncle were doctors, and she has been fascinated with medicine her whole life. “Being a physician assistant worked best with my family life, and I have enjoyed it tremendously,” she said. She has special interest in longevity research and wellbeing. “My goal is to help people stay strong and healthy for as long as possible,” she said. Her approach to care begins with listening. “I try to get to the bottom of anything that may be underlying their symptoms,” Pestle said. “Treating the whole person resonates with me.” She has spent time in the area, visiting family and working on her property in the Siuslaw National Forest. She decided to join Samaritan because of the mission of Building Healthier Communities Together and PRIDE (Passion, Respect, Integrity, Dedicate and Excellence) values. “That really jives with my philosophy of medicine,” Pestle said. Away from the office, Pestle enjoys regenerative gardening, hiking, meditating and working on her farm. She can be reached at Samaritan Internal Medicine – Corvallis at 541- 768-5391.
