Samaritan Welcomes Philip Klineburger, PhD January 28, 2023 Play Video Philip Klineburger, PhD, has joined Samaritan Neuropsychology – Albany. He provides neuropsychological evaluations for people with brain injuries or experiencing neurological or psychiatric conditions. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Longwood University and master’s and doctorate degrees at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He completed residency training at Neuropsychological Services of New Mexico and an internship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. Dr. Klineburger sought a career where he could have a direct impact while also learning from each patient. “I’ve always been fascinated with brain-behavior relationships,” Dr. Klineburger said. “The brain is complex and amazing.” His approach to patient care is to use a scientific approach with a personal touch. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, woodworking, reading and walking his dog.
