Samaritan Scramble Raises Nearly $119,000 for Foundations

The Samaritan Scramble golf tournament raised $118,939 for the Samaritan Foundations Patient Support Program.

The event took place Thursday, June 1, and drew nearly 100 players to Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach. The funds raised by the tournament will be shared with all five of the Samaritan hospitals in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.

Samaritan’s Patient Support Program provides funding assistance for patients in need to promote equal access to care and facilitate safe hospital discharge. Currently, over 1,300 people are receiving assistance with expenses such as medical bills, transportation, prescriptions, nutritional supplements and groceries through the program.

Samaritan Foundations would like to thank the participants and sponsors who helped make this event a success:

  • Presenting sponsor – Gallagher Insurance.
  • Platinum sponsors – GBC Construction and Vizient.
  • Gold sponsor – Skanska.
  • Silver sponsor – KeyBank.
  • And, the 20 tournament sponsors.
