Samaritan Evergreen Hospice Expands to Lincoln County February 12, 2019 Samaritan Health Services recently announced its plans to discontinue its home health services in Lincoln, South Tillamook, Benton and Linn counties in early March, transitioning current patients to Signature Healthcare at Home, a Wilsonville-based home health agency, unless they choose a different home health provider. In Lincoln County, Samaritan’s home health operations were paired with hospice operations. With the transition of home health to Signature, Samaritan made the decision to consolidate its hospice services under its valley-based affiliate Samaritan Evergreen Hospice, which will open a physical office in Newport. The transition process will be seamless for patients who will transition their hospice care from Samaritan Pacific Home Health & Hospice or Samaritan North Lincoln Home Health & Hospice to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice on March 1.
