Health Research Collaborative Invests in Population Health December 28, 2022 The InterCommunity Health Research Institute, establishedin early 2022, is a collaboration to leverage sharedresources to evaluate and improve population healthand health equity. The research institute, convenedby InterCommunity Health Network CoordinatedCare Organization, includes community partners, keypolicymakers, researchers and health care systemrepresentatives. The research institute provides actionable evidence toinform community health investments and initiativesin Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties. It is creating aninclusive, collaborative environment that promotescuriosity, discovery and innovation through rigorousprogram evaluation and research in the following areas: Finding the best approaches to support the needs ofthe community. Providing academic rigor to health‑related programevaluation and research. Strengthening community relationships and resourcesbetween diverse partners. Aligning resources and health education withthe community. Facilitating diverse funding sources to supportpopulation health initiatives.
