Your Birthing Suite

Make yourself at home in your birthing suite and prepare for your baby’s arrival. If you are having a
C-section, your surgical suite is just a few feet away, inside the Family Birthing Center.

After your labor, delivery and recovery, you and your baby will continue to receive care in your birthing suite where you can introduce guests to your new baby!

Take a Room Walk-Through

Your private birthing suite features a flat screen TV, DVD player and free Internet. A jetted tub is available to help with relaxation during early labor.

Classes

Childbirth preparation and breastfeeding are just a few of the excellent classes and support groups held at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital for you and your family.

Your Experience

Every birth experience is unique. When you meet with your maternity care coordinator, you can share the kind of birthing experience you desire. Who will be there with you? Do you want a natural birth, or medication to help with your comfort? Do you want to walk around or sit in the jetted tub during labor? Will you be breastfeeding?

This is your time! Since babies often have a mind of their own, it’s possible that not everything will go as planned. However, the preparation you do beforehand will help you focus on what is most important – your experience and the birth of your baby!
