Primary Care Sports Medicine

The primary care sports medicine physicians at Samaritan Athletic Medicine are trained in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic athletic injuries.

Your initial patient evaluation will include a detailed history, review of prior treatment records and a thorough physical examination to best gauge your symptoms and identify the cause of your pain and/or dysfunction.

X-rays and further recommendation for advanced imaging, including CT (computed tomography) or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans, may be recommended to further understand your injury and assist in medical or physical management. If warranted, our primary care sports medicine physicians can make recommendations for further management via physical therapy or orthopedic surgery as warranted.
