Family medicine resident training.

Didactics

Our didactic program is a two-year rotating curriculum focused on the tenets of family medicine with simulation and procedural experiences. This takes place every Wednesday afternoon where you are protected from clinic and rotation duties.

Scholarly Activity

During your residency training, you will participate in two scholarly activities. We have two goals for all residents:

  • To be able to conduct a quality improvement project as well as be able to incorporate evidence into practice.
  • To incorporate evidence into practice.

Samaritan Health Services has a medical library and librarian to help you gather you research and articles. Once you have your data, we have two statisticians to help you synthesize your data and prepare it for publication.
