Samaritan offers options for convenient and secure care: video visits, MyChart E-Visits, or in some cases, telephone visits. A broad range of health care services is available with these telehealth options. Your health care team will help decide whether a telehealth visit is right for you.
Video visits may be scheduled with your Samaritan health care provider. You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet with an internet connection. Instructions will be included in the appointment invite sent by your Samaritan clinic.
MyChart E-Visits can usually be done completely through the MyChart messaging application online and are a very convenient choice for minor and simple concerns. For E-Visit services, you will need to have a MyChart account and reside within the state of Oregon. If you do not have a MyChart account, this can be set up at samhealth.org/MyChart.
In some cases, Samaritan providers may be able to conduct visits by telephone, if you are unable to do a video visit or MyChart E-visit.
You can start the process by calling your health care provider to schedule a telehealth appointment or by requesting an E-Visit using MyChart. Your health care team can help determine whether an E-Visit, video or phone visit will be best for your health concern. Telehealth options provide a convenient way to access health care from home or elsewhere.
