Samaritan offers options for convenient and secure care: MyChart E-Visits, video visits, or in some cases, telephone visits. A broad range of health care services is available with these telehealth options. Your health care team will help decide whether a telehealth visit is right for you.
MyChart E-Visits can usually be done completely through the MyChart messaging application online and are a very convenient choice for minor and simple concerns. For E-Visit services, you will need to have a MyChart account and reside within the state of Oregon. If you do not have a MyChart account, this can be set up at samhealth.org/MyChart. Using MyChart to message your provider ensures your communication between you and your provider is secure.
Video visits may be scheduled with your Samaritan health care provider. You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet with an internet connection. Instructions will be included in the appointment invite sent by your Samaritan clinic.
In some cases, Samaritan providers may be able to conduct visits by telephone, if you are unable to do a video visit or MyChart E-visit.
You can start the process by calling your health care provider to schedule a telehealth appointment or by requesting an E-Visit using MyChart. Your health care team can help determine whether an E-Visit, video or phone visit will be best for your health concern. Telehealth options provide a convenient way to access health care from home or elsewhere.
