Samaritan Welcomes Alanna Didier, DO November 4, 2022 Play Video Alanna Didier, DO, has joined Samaritan Family Medicine – Geary Street in Albany. Dr. Didier provides primary care for people of all ages. She has special interest in gender-affirming care, LGBTQ+ health, women’s health and preventive medicine. Dr. Didier earned a bachelor’s degree at University of California, San Diego, a master’s degree in medical science from Boston University School of Medicine and a medical degree at Midwestern University. She completed residency training at HonorHealth-Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. She provides family planning services, joint injections and performs minor skin and other office procedures. Dr. Didier prioritizes patient education and explains complicated topics in a way that’s easy to understand. “Medicine can often be confusing and sometimes scary,” she said. Dr. Didier said she appreciates Samaritan’s mission of Building Healthier Communities Together. “I am able to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds alongside clinicians who are equally passionate about encouraging healthy lifestyles,” she said. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, running, reading, finding new baking recipes and playing with her dogs.
