Good Samaritan CEO Appears on KGW’s Straight Talk September 9, 2022 Straight Talk with Laural Porter featured Laura Hennum, chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center on the show that initially aired Friday, Sept. 9. The program will focused on the direction health care takes after COVID-19. The show was recorded at the KGW studios in Portland. Hennum was joined on the KGW set by Becky Hultberg, Oregon Association of Hospitals & Health Systems president and CEO. They discussed the hospital capacity crisis in terms of how health care got to this place and how it could be fixed. “I talked about our challenges with pent-up health care demand,” said Hennum. “I also shared gratitude for our health care professionals. I encouraged the community to embrace telehealth and other alternative access points.”
