Our mental health providers help with a variety of problems of thinking, feeling and behavior affecting children, teens and their families.
A complete exam is done to learn about the current problem, keeping in mind physical, genetic, developmental, emotional, cognitive, educational, family and social components.
Treatment plans include all of these factors. Recommendations are shared with the patient and parents. Treatment may include personal, group or family psychotherapy, medication, etc. We work with other doctors or experts from schools, juvenile courts, social agencies or other community agencies.
We are advocates for children and teens and have their best interests at heart.
