Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center has cared for adult psychiatric patients since 1992. Our 16-bed Samaritan Inpatient Mental Health facility near the hospital serves private and state-funded patients in a comfortable, community-based setting. Samaritan Inpatient Mental Health works closely with county mental health programs and with the Oregon Health Plan.
A mental health care team provides individual and group therapy, occupational and recreational therapy and more. Music and art therapy have been offered through grants from the Oregon Arts Commission and the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
Our staff works closely with each patient’s family, primary care doctor and community resources to provide a smooth transition when leaving our facility.
