Samaritan Welcomes Ryan Cain, PA-C December 2, 2021 Play Video Ryan Cain, PA-C, has joined Samaritan Hematology & Oncology Consultants – Corvallis through a collaboration with Oregon Oncology Specialists. He sees patients with all types of cancer and blood disorders. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Azusa Pacific University and a master’s in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University. Cain specializes in bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemotherapy. He also provides follow-up care to bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy patients. When he was a young man, he was severely burned. The medical staff in the burn unit where he was treated inspired him to become a physician assistant. Cain was eager to work at Samaritan Pastega Regional Cancer Center. “It’s a pillar of care in the community, a place that any oncology clinician would want to be a part of,” he said. After living on the West Coast his entire life, he decided to move to Oregon, where his best friend and husband are originally from. “I needed someplace greener than California,” Cain said. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, photography, snowboarding and spending time with his family and French bulldogs. He is accepting new patients and can be reached by calling Samaritan Hematology & Oncology Consultants – Corvallis at 541-768-4950.
