Samaritan Welcomes Leyen Vu, DO June 26, 2023 Leyen Vu, DO, has joined Samaritan Athletic Medicine Center. He specializes in sports medicine and family medicine. Dr. Vu earned a bachelor’s degree at University of Washington and a medical degree at Midwestern University. He completed residency training at Providence St. Peter Hospital and a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at University of Utah. He performs many injection procedures including ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided procedures, osteopathic manipulative therapy, diagnostic ultrasound exams and nonsurgical approaches to manage fractures and tendon problems. He also manages sports-related concussions. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal care and fracture care. Dr. Vu considers it a privilege to be a doctor and serve the community. He values honesty, integrity and building relationships with others. “Medicine is the means by which I can impact people’s lives in their most vulnerable time,” he said. Dr. Vu grew up in Olympia, Washington, and has extended family living in the Pacific Northwest.
