Samaritan Welcomes Erin Hoppin, DO December 2, 2022 Play Video Erin Hoppin, DO, has joined Samaritan Medical Group Family Medicine – Ninth St. in Corvallis. She provides primary care for people of all ages, as well as gender-affirming care, osteopathic manipulation and family planning. Dr. Hoppin earned a bachelor’s degree at Yale University and a medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. She likes building relationships with her patients and staying informed about the latest medical advances. “I enjoy that there will always be more to learn,” Dr. Hoppin said. Her approach to care is to be in partnership with patients. “I am there to help them know their options and make recommendations,” she said. “By working together, we can create the best plan.” Dr. Hoppin moved to Corvallis with her family for her residency program and chose to stay at Samaritan. “It is a fantastic place to live,” she said. “It is an honor to be part of such a caring organization and friendly community.” Away from the office, she enjoys watching movies, reading poetry, listening to podcasts, attending farmer’s markets and traveling. “I love the outdoors and getting outside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest as often as I can,” she said.
