Samaritan Welcomes Atalie Rutherford, MD June 26, 2023 Atalie Rutherford, MD, has joined Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic – Lebanon. She provides primary care for people of all ages. She earned a bachelor’s degree at University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a medical degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed residency training at The University of Arizona COM – Tucson Family Medicine Residency Program. She loves science and learning and after visiting the Body Worlds exhibit in high school, she decided what her career would be. “I knew right away that being a physician was the right path,” Dr. Rutherford said. She practices evidence-based medicine and helps her patients learn about their health and feel empowered. Dr. Rutherford has a special interest in women’s health, joint injections, diabetes and substance use treatment. Dr. Rutherford shares Samaritan’s values of PRIDE — passion, respect, integrity, dedication and excellence. Away from the office, she enjoys gaming, tabletop role-playing games, fly fishing and baking. “I enjoy being a proud nerd,” she said.
