Samaritan Urology – Albany Welcomes Physician Assistant February 28, 2020 Samaritan Urology — Albany is pleased to welcome Loren Tetzlaff, PA-C. As a physician assistant, Tetzlaff assists with patient care for urological conditions. He earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in health care studies from Ashford University and a master’s in physician assistant studies from Chatham University. “I was interested in being a physician assistant because we are able to spend time developing patient relationships and help to increase access to care,” Tetzlaff said. Tetzlaff was born and raised in Albany, along with five younger siblings. He is a graduate of West Albany High School. Most of his immediate family lives in the mid-Willamette Valley, and he is happy to return to work in his hometown. “I wanted to give back to the community that I was raised in,” he said. Before completing physician assistant studies, Tetzlaff served for eight years in the Air Force, where he was a loadmaster, completing five deployments and traveling to more than 60 countries. “I value the relationships I have built not only with family and friends, but also with people in the community and worldwide I have met through my travels,” he said. In his free time, Tetzlaff enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, and his beagle, Cooper. To make an appointment, call Samaritan Urology – Albany at 541-812-5800.
