MultiCare Health System, a Washington-domiciled nonprofit corporation based in Tacoma, Washington, intends to acquire indirect control of Samaritan by becoming its sole corporate member. Prior to deciding whether the transaction should be approved, the Department of Consumer and Business Services is conducting a virtual hearing to allow the public to learn more about the transaction and provide comment on the proposed transaction.
