Mobile Prenatal & Postpartum Clinic Launches With Successful Open House March 19, 2026 More than 50 people including two area politicians showed up to tour SamCare Mobile Medicine’s new prenatal and postpartum clinic during an open house at Monarch on 4th in Corvallis. Oregon State representative Sarah Finger McDonald and Albany Mayor Alex Johnson were led on tours of the van by Samaritan’s Emily Yeast and Bryan Stephens who answered questions about the interdisciplinary care team and discussed referral processes and collaboration opportunities. The open house was held March 16 and was a preview of the weekly mobile clinic. The clinic will start seeing patients on Monday, April 6, and will offer walk‑in prenatal visits, postpartum care, parenting support and peer support every Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Monarch on 4th in Corvallis. The location is a community hub for pregnant and parenting families that serves Benton and Linn counties. Before the open house, four people had already signed up for opening day appointments according to Monarch on 4th coordinator Roslyn Burmood. A certified nurse midwife will provide prenatal and postpartum services, while a traditional health worker will offer peer support, advocacy and referrals. The behavioral health team will be available for counseling and recovery services, and Samaritan clinicians will offer on‑site medical care. No appointments are needed, and most insurance plans are accepted, including InterCommunity Health Network Coordinated Care Organization and Oregon Health Plan. Staff can assist individuals who do not have insurance with the application process. Community partners are invited to learn about referrals, strengthening collaboration and supporting expanded access to coordinated care for pregnant and postpartum families.
