Local Nonprofits Invited to Apply for Social Accountability Grants

Samaritan Health Services invites local nonprofit agencies that are dedicated to improving community health and well-being to apply for Social Accountability grant funding by Friday, Aug. 21.

To assist potential applicants, a virtual information session is planned for 10 a.m. on Monday, July 27, via Microsoft Teams.

“For almost three decades, Samaritan has been pleased to provide funding to local organizations that offer programs addressing our community’s health and wellness,” said Paulina Kaiser, director of Community Health and Grants. “By leveraging resources and fostering partnerships, everyone in our three-county region benefits.”

For the 2027 round of funding, Samaritan is joining with the InterCommunity Health Network Coordinated Care Organization to provide a total of $225,000. Grants can be requested for $5,000, $10,000, $25,000 or $50,000.

Grant funding is open to governmental agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and coalitions operating in and serving the counties of Benton, Lincoln and Linn.
