Flu Shot Clinics in Lincoln County Start on Oct. 11 October 4, 2024 Helping protect residents from the flu all season long, Samaritan Health Services will offer four flu shot clinics for children and adults in Lincoln County in October. Appointments are not needed, and vaccinations will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Insurance will be billed. Friday, Oct. 11 A pediatrics-only flu shot clinic will take place from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. at Samaritan Health Center – Newport. The clinic will take place on the second floor of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, 930 SW Abbey St. It is open to children 6 months old through age 18. Sunday, Oct. 13 An all-ages drive-thru flu shot clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Samaritan Medical Plaza in Lincoln City. It is open to children and adults ages 6 months and older who have been a Samaritan patient in the past three years. A high-dose vaccine will be available for those age 65 and up. This clinic is at 3100 NE 28th St., directly south of Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital. Please enter the parking lot from 28th Street. Friday, Oct. 18 An all-ages flu shot clinic is planned from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. at Samaritan Health Center – Newport. This is on the second floor of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, 930 SW Abbey St. The clinic is for anyone age 6 months and older. A high-dose vaccine is available for those age 65 and up. Saturday, Oct. 19 SamCare Mobile Medicine will be parked at the Samaritan Center for Health Education from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an all-ages flu shot clinic. The center is directly west of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, at 740 SW Ninth St. in Newport. At this clinic, COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available. For Samaritan patients in Benton and Linn counties, flu vaccinations can be obtained at your provider’s office by appointment and at a Samaritan Pharmacy near you.
