Emergency Preparedness Seminar Will Help Residents Get Ready

Disaster can strike unexpectedly and in different ways – flooding, wind damage, earthquake and fire, to name a few. Are you prepared to survive an emergency? A free seminar will show you and your family how to be ready for the worst.

The seminar, Emergency Preparedness: Are You Ready, will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Samaritan Center for Health Education at two different times: noon to 12:45 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

At the seminar, information will be presented by Erik Maiorano, Emergency Management coordinator for Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, and Lincoln County Emergency Management. Some topics include personal and family preparedness before, during and after an emergency, go bag basics and vehicle emergency kits.

To reserve your seat, call Amy Conner at 541-574-4952 or email [email protected]. Please indicate which time you plan to attend.
