Albany Hospital Welcomes Foot & Ankle Specialist October 15, 2020 Samaritan Albany General Hospital is excited to add Jason Lin, MD, of Samaritan Medical Group Orthopedics – Corvallis to its medical staff. Beginning Friday, Oct. 16, Dr. Lin will be performing surgeries at the hospital. Dr. Lin offers expertise in a broad range of foot and ankle conditions affecting both adults and adolescents. He has provided foot and ankle care for multiple professional, college and high school athletes. His areas of interest include arthroscopy and sports medicine, arthritis management, fracture care, deformity correction, and complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle. “My goal is to provide personalized care to every patient with the hope of relieving pain, restoring function and improving quality of life,” said Dr. Lin. “A detailed history, physical examination, imaging and labs are all part of the equation in determining the best course of action for each individual.” Dr. Lin has been with Samaritan Health Services since 2010. He earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai Medical Center, completed his internship and residency at Penn State University Hospital – Milton S. Hershey Memorial Medical Center and did his fellowship training at Mercy Medical Center. He also conducted two years of medical research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and has authored numerous research publications as well as several review articles on foot and ankle surgery.
