Who This Serves:  In our communities, many of our neighbors, friends and loved ones face challenges in getting the help they need to stay healthy.

What:  Samaritan’s Patient Support Program changes lives by providing financial support during tough times to help patients heal and live healthier lives.

Where: Hospitals and clinics throughout Samaritan’s tri-county region of Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.

When:  All year. Patient applications renew annually.

Why:  Patient Support programs promote equal access to health care.

  • More than $280,000 in support was distributed in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties in 2023.
  • More than 1,500 community members are being assisted with expenses, such as medical bills, transportation, prescriptions, nutritional supplements and groceries.

Campaign Goal:  $250,000 in 2024.

Lead Foundation:  All Samaritan foundations.

“I just wanted to share a happy story about one of my patients. He gained three pounds this past month and contributes it to drinking the Ensure he received through the Samaritan Foundations Patient Support Program. He was so excited to share this with me and is hopeful he may gain another three pounds this month. He usually needs a wheelchair to come into the clinic and today he was walking by himself!”
