We also have a full-time OB/GYN triage nurse who is available to answer medical questions during business hours. Each Samaritan nurse-midwife is licensed and educated in both nursing and midwifery. They are board certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives, recognized by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed by the State of Oregon. Patients who see nurse-midwives actively participate in their health care and want a personalized, family-centered approach to maternity care. Each of our midwives offers a natural birthing experience focused on your unique needs, with the convenience of delivering in a hospital with state-of-the-art care, for you, for your baby for your peace of mind. The clinic is open every Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Monarch on 4th Street in Corvallis, making it easy to receive care without traveling to a traditional medical office. Designed as a one‑stop location, the clinic brings together medical care and supportive services in a welcoming, low‑barrier environment. The clinic provides prenatal and postpartum medical care, along with parenting support and peer support, all in one visit. No appointment is needed, so patients can simply walk in when it works for them. Visits are covered by most insurance plans, including IHN‑CCO and the Oregon Health Plan. For those without insurance, clinic staff are available to help with the application process, ensuring everyone has access to the care and support they need during pregnancy and after birth.
