Medical Procedures During Labor

This class will discuss informed decision making during labor, methods for inducing or augmenting labor, fetal monitoring, the use of IV fluids and options for medical pain relief including nitrous oxide, analgesics and epidural anesthesia. It will also cover possible interventions during the pushing (second) stage of labor.
