Disaster can strike unexpectedly and in different ways – flooding, wind damage, earthquake, tsunami or fire to name a few. Are you ready to face a serious emergency?

Join Emergency Management Coordinator Erik Maiorano for a free seminar to learn ways to prepare your family before, during and after an emergency and what to include in a “go-bag” as well as a vehicle emergency kit.

The seminar will be held at two different times on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Samaritan Center for Health Education in Newport:

• Noon to 12:45 p.m.
• 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.
