Center for Women & Families Tour

Join us for a guided tour to explore our labor and delivery unit, special care nursery and postpartum rooms. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to see features such as soaking tubs and wireless fetal monitors, and ask any questions you may have.

Group tours of the birthing center require registration. They are held on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m., excluding holidays.

Each tour is limited to the pregnant individual and one guest. Please register both yourself and a guest using the email provided below. Children under 12 are not permitted on the tours. Guests over age 12 must be registered as the accompanying guest.

Patients with a confirmed tour date should enter through the front entrance and check in at the information desk. A staff member from the Center for Women and Families will meet you there.

Note:  While tours are generally recommended during the third trimester, they can be done at any stage of pregnancy. If you are enrolled in our Childbirth & Newborn Preparation Class, you do not need to sign up for a tour. A tour is included during the final class session.

Please provide the following information in your email:

• First and last name of the patient.
• Name of one guest/support person.
• Name of the patient’s healthcare provider.
• Due date.
• Planned delivery location.

We will confirm your enrollment and keep track of tour capacity. If the tour becomes full, we will contact you via email with the next available date. If you need to cancel your tour, please send us an email at your earliest convenience.

Tour Schedule

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early and meet in the lobby inside the main entrance of Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
