Nurse Navigation

Cancer treatment is uncharted territory for most families. If you or your loved one is diagnosed with cancer, the decisions, tests and medical terms can be overwhelming. To help you through this journey, depending on the type of cancer you have, you may be assigned a nurse navigator.

Nurse navigators teach you how to manage treatment side effects and help coordinate services. They are personally involved in your care through every phase. Your navigator can arrange consults with other clinicians and will work closely with other resources as needed.

From diagnosis to treatment and onto survivorship, our specially trained nurse navigators in the Samaritan Cancer Program are deeply committed to helping you through your cancer journey and reducing stress. For more information or to contact our nurse navigators, please call 541-768-4950.

Reliable Information at Your Fingertips

The internet is often the first place a person turns to for information regarding their cancer diagnosis, treatment and outcomes. There are many websites with information about cancer, but not all of them are trustworthy. These sources contain clinically sound and accurate advice and data.

Please remember that we are here to answer your questions.
