Pulmonology Clinic Relocates to Expanded Space in Ponderosa Tower

Patients and care teams are settling into a new home following the recent relocation of Samaritan Pulmonology – Corvallis within the Ponderosa Tower at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

The move, which was completed on Monday, Oct. 12, relocates the clinic to Suite 327 on the third floor, providing additional space to support the needs of a growing practice and the patients it serves.

The project was designed to address space constraints in the clinic’s former location, which had become increasingly crowded as demand for pulmonary services continued to grow. The expanded clinic space provides room for future growth while improving the experience for patients, providers and staff.

“This project allowed us to relieve pressure on a clinic that had outgrown its space while creating an effective new workspace for teams that play a vital role in supporting our patients.,” said Brandon Schmidgall, GSR hospital administrator. “This project allows us to better meet the needs of our patients today while preparing for the future.”

As part of the project, Samaritan’s Case Management team relocated to a newly renovated space on the first floor. The new location also includes office space for chaplains, continuing the opportunities for collaboration among teams that support patients and families throughout their care journey.

Patients will continue to access the clinic through the same entrance on the second floor of Ponderosa Tower. Once inside the building, patients will now take the elevator to the third floor, where the pulmonology check-in desk is located immediately to the left upon exiting the elevator.
