Still Time to Apply: Midwifery & Doula Education Scholarships Available July 9, 2026 Aspiring midwives and doulas in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties still have an opportunity to apply for the Jeanne Hazleton Scholarship for Midwifery and Doula Education. Administered by the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, the scholarship provides financial support for individuals beginning or continuing accredited midwifery or doula training programs. Established in 2008 in honor of Jeanne Hazleton’s lifelong service to families, the scholarship helps support the next generation of compassionate birthing professionals. Applicants must have a connection to Benton, Lincoln or Linn counties and be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited program. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.
