Discover, Connect & Thrive at Healthier You Expo July 6, 2026 Explore dozens of local resources designed to help you live your healthiest life at the Healthier You Expo on Saturday, Sept. 12, in Newport. More than three dozen community organizations, businesses and Samaritan Health Services departments will gather to offer wellness information, interactive activities and valuable resources during this free, family-friendly event. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Samaritan Center for Health Education, 740 SW Ninth St., directly west of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. “Our community offers so many resources to support health and well-being, and the Healthier You Expo brings them together in one convenient location,” said Amy Conner, Samaritan’s health education specialist. “Whether you’re looking for wellness tips, preventive care, healthy living ideas or community connections, you’ll find something valuable here,” Conner said. “Plus, you can get your annual flu shot, sample nutritious foods and even have a chance to win a door prize.” What to Expect at the Expo! Health & Wellness Opportunities Attendees can take advantage of a variety of free health and wellness opportunities, including blood pressure checks, basic vision screenings, balance assessments, bioelectromagnetic energy regulation sessions (BEMER), and guided relaxation experiences.
