Schedule Your Primary Care Appointment Online Through MyChart September 22, 2025 Appointment scheduling with your primary care provider just got easier. Through MyChart, existing patients wanting to schedule an appointment can now select their provider and see what time slots are available for a visit, either online or in person, without having to pick up the phone. Primary & Pediatric Online Scheduling “Online scheduling is available for patients with providers in primary care and pediatric clinics,” said Jan Hull, Samaritan IS director of clinical design. “It provides a wonderful opportunity for patients to self-schedule when convenient for them to get their health issue addressed.” At this time, for other providers that are not serving a primary care role, users can still request an appointment but cannot select a time slot. “We know patients want the convenience of booking appointments without waiting for business hours to call and we are working hard to make that happen,” Hull said. “We are rapidly adding new features to MyChart that will make it easier for patients to access care.” Online scheduling is currently available for patients who have visited their provider within the last two years. If available times are not displaying or do not meet your needs, contact scheduling at the clinic.
