Take Charge of Your Brain Health at Mini Conference in Newport

Learn how to take charge of your brain health at a Mini McGinty Conference on Alzheimer’s, aging and brain health. This no-cost mini conference will cover several topics including the latest in Alzheimer’s and dementia research, 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s, practices for maintaining brain health at all ages, and learning about community resources.

It is presented by the Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association in collaboration with Oregon Care Partners, Oregon Health & Science University, AARP Oregon and Samaritan Health Services.

The conference is named for the late Dr. Dean McGinty, a Portland geriatrician, an early advocate for those living with dementia, and a pioneer in the Alzheimer’s family-support movement.
