Samaritan Health Services Opens New Dedicated Pediatric Clinic December 3, 2024 Samaritan Health Services opened its new state-of-the-art pediatric clinic, which began serving patients in November. Samaritan Pediatrics, which began serving patients on Monday, Nov. 1, is located on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus at 330 NW Elks Drive, the standalone facility represents a significant expansion from its previous shared space with Samaritan Medical Group – Family Medicine Ninth Street. The newly remodeled 8,660 sq. foot space features a specially designed waiting area that creates a welcoming environment for young patients and their families, along with 14 exam rooms and one procedure room. Through a generous donation from the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, the waiting room walls showcase whimsical displays including a welcome message written in more than 30 languages. “This desire was to create a welcoming and positive experience that aligns with Samaritan values,” said Laura Ball, pediatric clinic manager. “Our goal is to continue to expand and improve access for our patients, and we are excited about the new space and potential for growth and expansion.” The move makes continuity of care easier for the patients when additional lab work or X-rays are ordered since the location is closer to the hospital. The new clinic will continue to provide the full range of pediatric services that families have come to expect from Samaritan Health Services, including: Well-child visits. Immunizations. Acute care. Developmental screenings. Chronic condition management. Behavioral health services. Patients can schedule appointments at the new location by calling 541-768-4900. The clinic will maintain its current weekday operating hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
