Samaritan Health Services offers a rewarding opportunity for a nurse graduate interested in the nursing specialty of ambulatory care. The ambulatory care internship is an education and training program designed to bridge the gap between the academic and service setting. It provides the necessary structure and support for a smooth transition into a profession focused on coordinated patient care across the healthcare continuum.
Ambulatory Care interns will complete six months of comprehensive orientation and training in collaboration with the New Grad Transition to Practice program to meet AAACN Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse Residency Program criteria. The focused education and clinical experiences prepare the nurse to practice independently in various ambulatory care settings.
